Paid consultations provide individualized guidance for parents and guardians, adults, educators, homeschoolers, schools, and community organizations navigating dyslexia, instructional options, accommodations, assistive technology, and related educational decisions.

Consultations are scheduled by appointment and are tailored to the questions and concerns submitted through the inquiry process. Recommendations are provided during the paid consultation rather than through the inquiry form.

​These services are separate from the complimentary 15–20-minute conversation offered to prospective tutoring clients after basic information about cost, scheduling, and availability has been provided.

Ways a Consultation Can Help

Understanding Dyslexia

Discuss dyslexia characteristics, existing evaluation or screening information, co-occurring concerns such as ADHD, and age-appropriate ways to explain dyslexia to a student or adult.

Instruction & Resources

Review instructional approaches, curriculum and material options, tutoring resources, and practical support for learning at home or in a homeschool setting.

Accommodations & Technology

Discuss accommodations, assistive technology, and practical supports for school and daily learning, including questions to consider when reviewing an IEP or 504 Plan.

How Consultations Work

1. Complete the Inquiry Form

Complete the inquiry form with the requested background and contact information. The form provides preliminary information for Ms. Jane to review, but does not include individualized guidance or recommendations.

2. Receive Service Information

Ms. Jane reviews the inquiry to determine whether the requested service is within her scope. If so, information about the consultation fee, scheduling, and preparation will be provided.

3. Schedule the Consultation

After payment and scheduling are completed, the consultation is held by appointment. Relevant records, evaluations, plans, or curriculum materials may be submitted in advance when appropriate.
